July 3 (Independence Day Weekend) / Reason Together / Obadiah 19 / A God Who Restores

People from the Negev will possess
the hill country of Esau;
those from the Judean foothills will possess
the land of the Philistines.
They will possess
the territories of Ephraim and Samaria,
while Benjamin will possess Gilead.

While we may need to be careful in appropriating specific Scriptures or promises for our personal lives, it is in God's nature and character to restore, and we can expect that what He doesn't restore He will surpass.

  2. Question: Were you disappointed by the way the sermon ended? I expected to reach a more definite conclusion than "sometimes God restores, sometimes He doesn't..."
