What thoughts might everyone have to incorporate a set of rhythmic songs such that people might clap hands. I, personally, don't get a lot out of hand clapping, upbeat music where every song sings the chorus dozens of times. I do enjoy some handclapping. We watched the Sister Act movies and, well you know. Every church I have seen that has upbeat music grows. I also know we have people in the church that have rhythmic cultures. Well, O happy day...

ReplyDeleteHey, Ricky, I was looking at this day through the editing page, and didn't see you had posted a comment. Sorry! Lis hasn't posted music choices, but I assume they have been made, because I haven't heard any concerns from Kathy...It will no doubt take a few weeks for us to get in a "groove" on this process. I made some notes on the "How to Use this Blog" post about what goals I am setting for my part of the process. I'm behind this week (and maybe the next), but on track for the few after that...
DeleteSo much went wrong, but I thought overall the service was a good one. Bill showed me some things about the sound system after lunch that will help in the future, like why the one mic was so much louder than the others...
