July 10 / Reason Together / Obadiah 20 / A God of the Refugee

The exiles of the Israelites who are in Halah
and who are among the Canaanites as far as Zarephath
as well as the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad
will possess the cities of the Negev.

God has consistently shown a concern for those who were outcast, and this should inform how we approach similar situations today.

  1. Loved the sermon so much! I loved that you explained a very difficult topic so carefully, and I love love love that you gave us practical, tangible ways to be obedient. Memorizing Obadiah has been very difficult, but the constant reviewing of the verses has made them a part of me and a part of my consciousness. I love that I have a way to act on what we have learned.
